Success Transfer Mentoring is intentionally small, but we may add a few more transfer mentors over time.
Mentor Fit
A good Success Transfer Mentoring mentor is ready to help transfer students feel less alone.
Low Commitment
Mentoring is designed around short 15-minute conversations, so it can stay manageable alongside school and work. Mentors are completely responsible for their own schedules and availability.
Peer Support
Although it is a plus, mentors do not need previous mentoring or advising experience. Mentors must have a passion for helping others by sharing advice through their own lived experience, practical guidance, and resources. All mentors are unpaid volunteers, as this is a nonprofit service.
